Dearest Readers,
If you are wondering why I have not been posting for a while, I have fallen sick.
And yes, it’s the full bout of flu. Sore throat, followed by fever, then running nose, and to top it all off a cough. Think I am at the ‘turning point’ now, am feeling better, and should be up and running by tomorrow latest. 🙂
Being sick reminds me of my mortality once again. Sometimes we are just so immersed in our job, our passion, our life. But we forget one of the most important things… our health. That is why Mentor Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew has my utmost respect in this aspect. He’s in his 80s, and yet… his voice resonates when he speaks. Sometime last year (or was it the year before?) he stood for close to 2 hours giving a speech at the Parliament. Read somewhere that he swims everyday too!
My gym card is gathering moss. Time to utilise it more.
Meanwhile, my dearest readers… have a wonderful day ahead, and check back for more. 🙂
Sincerely, Violet
